About Car Genies
Car Genies helps you work out which used cars suit your budget and your driving. Car Genies is a business registered in Ireland.
Information, not a guarantee
Our recommendations, ratings and checklists are general information to help you shortlist cars. They are based on published NCT test results, researched known issues, and advertised prices. They are not a mechanical inspection or a guarantee about any individual car.
Every used car is different. Before you buy, always:
- have the car inspected by a qualified mechanic
- get a vehicle history check
- check the car's NCT certificate and service history
Price figures are estimates based on advertised asking prices, not valuations.
We don't sell cars
We don't sell, inspect or negotiate on cars, and we're not connected to the sellers you deal with. At present, no dealer or seller pays to appear in our results. If that changes, we'll say so clearly on the site.
Our responsibility
We work hard to keep our information accurate, but we can't promise it's complete or error-free. We're not responsible for any decision you make to buy or not buy a particular car. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Irish consumer law, or any liability that can't legally be excluded.
Using the site
Please don't misuse the site, including by trying to disrupt it, submitting forms automatically, or copying our data in bulk.
Law
These terms are governed by Irish law, and Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
