Get a car checked by a mechanic before you buy
We're lining up independent local mechanics who can inspect a car for you before you hand over any money. They'll check it over and tell you plainly what they find.
Until then
Use our free inspection checklist when you go to see the car. It shows you what to look at, step by step, with photos of good and bad.
